Re: Buying SEIV from the UK?
...also, this high cost for us Brits makes my question "Multiplayer on LAN using CD?" (on this forum, a few topics down) even more important.
I did look on Malfador's Q&A first, honest!

Re: Buying SEIV from the UK?
I bought mine direct from Shrapnel. It came to about 40 something quid (Shipping included). Sure, it's a lot of dosh but you get good mileage out of that - I haven't really played another game all year. If I were to calculate SE4's cost per hour of entertainment it has given me then it would probably be practically freeware.
And yes, Game and EB are owned by the same parent company.

Re: Buying SEIV from the UK?
I bought direct from Shrapnel as well.
Shipping is way too expansive, I would't mind waiting for couple weeks if shrapnel used cheaper service.

Chips and Bits offers cheaper shipping.
it has more to do with lost packages than with offering a cheaper service.

Re: Buying SEIV from the UK?
I reckon I could fly to the states, buy 100 copies and flog them back here for a small profit to cover my air fare

Re: Buying SEIV from the UK?
I can't see the UK shipping cost on the Shrapnel site. Could anyone please let me know what it is?
I have three friends interested in joining me in a game so I might be ordering four copies - is the shipping cost per order or per copy?
I know I can order from the UK distributor but as discussed, I am not paying 160 UK pounds for four copies!

Re: Buying SEIV from the UK?
Yeah, I would like to know this. Another question, has any Brit out there who has ordered SEIV classic or SEIV gold ever been sent a letter by FedEx wanting £10 in import duty - I bought SEIV Last year and it cost me close on £55 what with shipping and import duty
It is one of the reasons why I am being put off gold
