Re: new demo scenario?
Howdy,
As a matter of fact there is a new demo scenario coming out. It depicts the part of the Battle of Ia Drang. It should be out by Wednesday. Keep checking the Shrapnel home page.
Best,
Mark

Re: new demo scenario?
Cool!
Over the weekend, I was monitoring some testing going on where I work, and the on-call tech guy and I gave the demo a try in between the busy spots.
It's fun, and I like the feel of the impulse system!

Great! Don't forget, you can download an Internet capable Version of the module at the VASSAL home page.
Best,
Mark

Has this one come out yet? And is it based on a particular action? Which one? Will it be possible with the out-of-the-box counters to play actions on a scale where a US company with fire support is being assaulted by upwards of a battalion of NVA infantry? If not will you be selling xtra-counter sets if there's a demand?
Also I'd also like to chime in and say I like the impulse system (having just tried it some solitaire so far). It seems to still support the prep-fire/movement/opportunity-fire sequence, but is more flexible, allowing for overwatch, for example. Nice system.
