Re: Access Violation by Starfuy.exe
Sure, "upgrading" to 98 isn't a bad idea, but my connection doesn't work with 98. I should reinstall it though simply for playing a few games when XP is using too many resources. (I had to remove 98 to free one of my partitions a few weeks ago)
The problem with Star Fury seems to be when loading sounds for me. Is there a way to remove sounds in the game? Perhaps it would help, or perhaps not.

Re: Access Violation by Starfuy.exe
You could try to delete the "sounds" folder...

Re: Access Violation by Starfuy.exe
*Feels incredibly silly* Erh, yes, you are right. It sounds so easy, but it is working for me without sounds. Now, I will have to try to see what is wrong with my sound card. (Bad drivers probably or something around these lines) If only I could remember what is my sound card. Thanks Mephisto!

Re: Access Violation by Starfuy.exe
Ups, correction on the Geforce. I just tried the latest beta (which the demo was build on) and now I get the error, too.

Re: Access Violation by Starfuy.exe
Here's a problem I doubt many have run into...
I have DO (Dungeon Odyysey). I find whenever I play that, and then try to play the SF demo, SF fails. I have to do a reboot, then I can play the SF demo. Looks like the two games might not play well together in the same sandbox...
