Bug in scenario 3?
I have reached the mission to destroy the Sithrak Portal. However, from the base I start at I don't even reach the Perdition system and I'm getting a popup window saying I've failed. I was originally using a Terran Battleship Mark III and thought that was just to slow. I've since tried a Terran Cruiser and still I can't even get to the Portal before I am notified that I have failed. The Last time I attempted the mission I did'nt stop or slow down at all and that did'nt work either. Has anyone else had this problem? If so is there a fix? Or am I supposed to fail?

Re: Bug in scenario 3?
No, you aren't supposed to fail, and I haven't heard of this problem before. Send it to MM with your savegame (sf@malfador.com), also make sure you have the patch.
EDIT: you should have 125-150 days to kill the portal. A battleship should have ample speed to make that, but try starting again and typing
`warpmap Perdition` after accepting the mission. That'll warp you directly to the Perdition system.

Thanx P-D, I had the patch installed, so I will send my saved game files to MM. Your suggestion for the "warpmap" worked great.

Check your campaigndata.txt file. There should be a
Job Time Scaling Factor := 2.5
line. If it is less than 2.5 for some reason, that would be your problem..

Re: Bug in scenario 3?
Just tried to perform the Sithrak Portal destruction mission in campaign 3, but when I get to Perdition, the Sithrak warp point is there, but the portal station is missing/has already been destroyed (may have accidently destroyed it in an earlier mission, since even when I cheat and jump straight to the system ahead of the other allied fleets it is missing). End result is I get a failed mission. I tried to trigger the event, but I must have the wrong mission name or am doing the cheat wrong. Would appreciate any assistance in this as am becoming very frustrated and do not really want to go back and repeat a bunch of missions again.
