Re: where are CD-Drive settings stored?
You press continue or retry, IIRC. It will check the next drive after. After you've done that once, it should check that drive first from now on.

where are CD-Drive settings stored?
I just added a new Hard disk on to the PC and it changed the drive letters for all the hdd & cd-rom. Previously the CD-ROM was E: and now its F:.
Whenever I start the game it asks me to put the Disc in the drive except its already there...just its name has changed.
How do I tell the game to look at a different drive? I checked the game folder but didn't find a config file. I even searched the system registry but the reg only contains location where the game is installed and not the CD drive.

Re: where are CD-Drive settings stored?
I've got a slightly different situation - everytime I boot into Windows the SF Install program starts up. The game is currently installed, although from a different CD Drive. Any ideas on how to stop the install program from starting every time?

Re: where are CD-Drive settings stored?
Disable autorun. Kind of silly to have a CD check for a program that starts the install every time the disc is inserted, though.

Re: where are CD-Drive settings stored?
Thats what I thought of doing, but I can't find where to turn the Auto-run off.

Re: where are CD-Drive settings stored?
Depends on what OS you're using, but most of the time you should be able to go my computer-right click on the drive-properties, and find it there.

Re: where are CD-Drive settings stored?
To disable autoplay on Win2k & WinXP I use TweakUI. Just search tweak ui & your windows Version (i.e Win2k or WinXP) in google.
TweakUI has a setting to disable autoplay.
Its easy on Win98 but I found it easier to change the settings using tweakui for Win2k/XP.
