Re: Poll time guys!
Well guess what, I have started playing with Dominions again, and getting owned by normal AI.
I forgot everything!

Re: Poll time guys!
I recommended the Dom I demo to a friend, hoping to get him to play PBEM with me, and on his first game, he keeps losing as soon as he hits 'End Turn'. I have no idea why...
The only thing I can think of is that perhaps he took a 1 point Dominion on a small map, and he's got a powerful neighbour nearby. Hopefully I can get it sorted out for him before he gets turned off the game...

Has he included any AI players in the game? If there are no AI's he will win on walkover.

Ah, now there's a possibility I hadn't thought of... I had assumed that he was losing the game, but all he really said was that he got a 'Game Over' message and it ended. The interface for starting a game makes this a likely mistake for a new player as well. I'll have to check that, thanks...
(That reminds me, is it too late to ask for all nations to be set to computer control by default instead of inactive? Would this be more helpful for people or less... I know it would be for me, but I tend to play SP games with all players active...?)
