See if there is a number of misc abilities specified. If it's 3 and you removed the third one, change that number to 2.

The "error" is due to a previous error (before 1.35) in vechicles_design_creation.txt for whicever race is causing the error (who's turn was it on). Open up the file, go to the entry for "fighter" and change "combat sensor" to "Combat to Hit Offense Plus". That will fix it. Note that this error always existed, it's just that now the game reports it... and it won't crash your system, it'll just give you the error message in the start of every game.

hmmmm, I changed "combat sensor" to "combat to hit offense plus" and still get an error message similar to the combat sensor one. checked my spelling too.... I am confused!
DOH! I didn't check spelling close enough! had a small case "t" in "to" instead of a capital "T"....off to bed...
ah ain't a quittin' mah day job! sheesh!

Well good on the game for finally reporting all these errors! <annoyed to the max>
The Toron have a fault in their boarding ships design file it is called the wrong thing.
Well at least it looks like all the MM designs are working OK.
Hope that the designers of these other great races fix them up soon....
