Re: DOMII PBEM game update
sorry bout that. It should be back up. If for some reason its not, it means i have one of my graphics programs rendering something for class, or i'm playing something else and need all the memory i can get. So, if for some reason you cannot connect but you're ready to send in orders, you can send the file to me at markoos@mail.utexas.edu
what fun!

Re: DOMII PBEM game update
Just as an experiment, would someone mind trying to connect to XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX port 2012?
I have a game waiting there, mainly I want to see if it works and if people can connect; if so, then I'm willing to host a game there (in addition to the one already going on). My machine is pretty stable and the IP won't change. The only question is whether people can get through.
(Removed IP)

After my initial failure (OK, I entered the port wrong ) it seems to work OK.
Edited out the quoted IP/port numbers

Re: DOMII PBEM game update
I think that setting it up on your server shall be a better idea. I've been having some unexpected problems with my platform, so sorry bout that guys. Oh, and would you go ahead and re-set the Abysia player. One of my friends jumped in, and then decided that he couldn't play. Sorry to everyone who was playing over in the previous game.

Wait, now I'm confused... I thought Trebuchet's game was another *new* game. If not I chose the wrong nation - instead of Ulm in King Lear's game I chose Arco. So if we're switching hosts we'll have to change that somehow.

Re: DOMII PBEM game update
Well, it was intended to be an additional game (if it worked at all), but given that people have been able to connect and it appears to be the only game in town at the moment, I suppose it replaces the original. I'll stick to the agreed upon map/conditions when I start it.
I flipped Arcoscephale back to "open" based on what you said. Feel free to reconnect as any nation now. Pythium, Ctis, Jotunheim and Machaka have players thus far.
I'd like to start the game by Sunday, but if we don't have enough players by then I can certainly wait.
