Default Re: Machaka and the Hunter Spiders - web effect?

You use strength to get rid of nets. It takes one turn IIRC. Much like tangle vines.

* EDIT: UURC -> IIRC *

The strength to determine how fast to get out of the web/net/etc makes sense, and seems to be working.

I set up another battle - just a Hunter Lord versus a lone NG, and this time paid very close attention to each attack. The attack rating of the HL was 18 (+3 when enraged), and the defense of the NG was pretty poor, so the Spider bite should have hit basically every time. In the 4 rounds the Black Hunter Lasted (only 1 attack as the mounted Version, 4 on the spider), 1 time the spider penetrated armor and caused the web, but the other times it missed.

I am guessing that it hit the NG each time, but that the web effect only takes effect if the attack penetrates armor. Not sure if the flaming weapons helped the fang attacks.

Have to try getting more of a strength bonus in there, and then see how this works...
