I was beginning to think that something is wrong with my play skills since AI kicks my behind at impossible level.

Well, 1v1 AI is not of course.

BUT on big map with lot of AIs, it is HELLISH hard to win, since some AI[s] will become UBER strong.

Sure the AI will need an update [AI weaknesses by Aristotles in the AI's thread], but I would say that is is pretty good already.

Sometimes I think Mortifer and Aristotles are trying to get the devs to NOT touch the AI

LOL nah, but in some games the AI is kicking ***. Not kidding! This happens in huge games, when its got time to build up/conquer other AI.
As I said there are many problems with the AI, but overall it is not that bad.

Btw the game is a bit too expensive, but oh well, lol.

The AI will be better with the patches, I am pretty sure about that!

I've been playing the game non-stop since I got it.

I think there were many who, like me, simply couldn't get around the dreadful graphics and horrible UI of Dom I to see how deep and wonderful this game really is. It's a jewel.

I'm very glad to see this new incarnation and hope it's selling well?

If nothing else, I think it's the most *literate* computer game I've ever played.

Hmmm, you should play Xenogears. Quite a lot of excellently-written text there.

As for Dominions II: My copy finally arrived! Yay! And so far, I can say - it as at least as good as the demo!

Hopefully, with no turn limits, I can win a game... maybe even cast "Nether Darts", which I always hated in the past, when it was just a tool the AI used to punish me
