I sacrificed two slaves to Illwinter but the game still cost me full price. What did I do wrong?

Doesnt the description say they have to be virgins? You telling me that you found 2 virgins willing to be sacrificed and you gave them to Illwinter?

They have to be willing... dang! That's a tall order.
I'll have to go back to less evil pursuits... like summoning creatures through my void gate.

Re: How much do devils reduce your dominion?
I suspect your problem was only using 2 virgin sacrifices. As you may note, Illwinter requires 120 sacrifices. Try doing the full 120 virgin sacrifice and then tell us if it works. You might need help sacrificing 120 people though...just remember, blood sacrifice can be fun for the whole family!

Problem with the U.S. is you probably don't have 120 Virgins in the entire place. At least virgin girls. ;P

The Illwinter ritual costs 120 blood slaves. Two is just not enough.
* Edit: hmm, I should read the whole thread before posting. *

I'm just catching up on back Posts. Don't mind me...
I probably qualify as 'seriously religious', being an evangelical protestant, and I find few things about Dominions 'disturbing' in an 'I'm not going to let my child play this' context (not to mention the fact he's only eighteen months old). It's an amalgamation of mythological-style characters and cultural prostheses. Of course it's gonna have devils and blood sacrifices. The most disturbing thing to me is the entire 'pretender' concept, but since it's based on an entirely mythical setting (and an extremely good gaming engine to boot) it doesn't provoke my religious fervor. That sort of moral quandary comes more from things like paint-by-numbers Holocausts or somesuch nonsense. It's like saying that Lord of the Rings promotes the occult, or something.
Just two cents. Ignore as desired.
