Quick question : decay
Sorry if that has been asked before (read lots of FAQs and used search but couldn't find anything *accurate* ) :
How does exactly "decay" work ? Is it anything more than a (relatively slow) damage over time spell ?

Re: Quick question : decay
if you ever fail your MR against decay, then you will die... even if the battle end.

Re: Quick question : decay
I'm not totally sure here. I would say yes with 90% confidence.

Re: Quick question : decay
From a post by Johan O:
Quote:
The decay and poison effects have not changed from dom 1, when the battle is over the remaining poison damage is dealt to poisoned units. Non regenerating decayed units die, units that regenerate sufficent amounts survive. There is MR on decay.

Re: Quick question : decay
Thanks all
So to sum it up, decay is a slow but powerful damage overtime, that will kill most units (unless they have strong regenerative powers).

Re: Quick question : decay
I think that with enough HP it's possible to survive decay even without regeneration, but I'm not sure. I remember seeing one instance of surviving decay, but I forgot whether it was a regenerating unit or not.

Re: Quick question : decay
I don't think so. At least I had a Dragon with 152 hit points left at the end of a battle go "poof" - which is why I remembered where to find that quote from Johan...
