there is no global enchantments at the moment....and the Marignon province has my dominion at "6"....

Then it's probably Fires from Afar (Evocation-3, F3, page 91). I've never been on the receiving end of it (I dish it out often), but its effects are not limited to undead/unholy. It kills about 10% of all units in the province. Perhaps the text you see that mentions undead/unholy is a bug. Purgatory is the only one that is specific in that way AFAIK.

It is the marignon home site that bLast your undead. It has a set probability of killing any of the undeads in the province each turn, no matter their hitpoints.

heh....kinda thought so....but couldn't find it ANYWHERE.....ok...well, that is no big deal anyways...with Carrion Woods, i am getting so many carrion beasts that i don't have enough commanders to round them all up :-)

The Diabolical Faith Version of the same site doesn't have this effect (fortunately for DF Marignon), although it has the same name, graphic and gem production. (It also doesn't allow the production of Grand Masters, of course; DF's own Goetic Masters can be recruited anywhere.)
