I did too, and for pretty much the same reason. Plus I enjoy seeing hordes of enemies suddenly stiffen when my massed ranks of illithids cuts loose with the mind games.
I also picked Jotuns as #2. I like seeing the giants squish puny humans.  |

Any "best" question is always wrong. If a person stops and thinks about it, anything they are pretty knowledgeable on, a "best" question would generate questions and not just spit out one answer right away. In this case...
best fun?
best winning against AI?
best winning against humans?
best well thought out historical theme?
best on small map?
best on large map?
