I believe that's the Tachyon Dampener... Might be something else, I just recently started playing P&N mod. Basically all it does is absorb attacks from weapon-damaging weapons.

I had completely forgotten the program was still outputting those test files. I guess since you like it I can call it a feature instead of a bug?

Well... the next coding project will be to release a new Version of the CompHTML program by ColdSteel and me that maybe links to this tech cost information.

After that, I wonder if anyone would be interested in seeing this tech browser code expanded to show the tech tree and cost for the rest of the components?

I found a way to make the Space Empires IV program itself create a file like this. Unfortunately when I tried to do it again I didn't find the icon anymore that I would have to click.

Sorry ... found it myself ... just started a new game with the option ... players can see the whole tech tree ... I didn't find it in the other game because this option had been turned off ...

Play a game with the tech tree enabled. (default in game setup I think is off)
go to tech tree under research and then export tech areas or tech levels
