Mercenaries don't have to be heroic to be in there, they just have to be famous - think of Blackbeard the Pirate - famous but hardly heroic.

Your right about mercs not being heroes, I don't know what the hell took me down that path, but I would like to see the option not to have mercs in there so that the regular unit can have a shot at getting the benefits |
