Re: 2 questions on blood sacrifice
Thanks very much.
I can see the number of slaves decreasing, but that only means he is sacrificing, not that he is getting new ones from the pool to replaced those sacrificed. (Right?)
But thanks so far.

Re: 2 questions on blood sacrifice
as i understand it, after the first turn, where you manually placed the blood slaves in his gem box, he will not sacrifice any more, UNLESS there is also a lab in the province.
If there is a lab, then the priest will, on his own initiative, get the same number of blood slaves as you had given him previously from the lab and sacrifice them. He will continue to do this until no slaves, or a change of orders.

Re: 2 questions on blood sacrifice
I am pretty sure the priest will auto pull as many slaves as he is capable of sacrificing at the beginning of the turn, if there is a lab present.
However if you later remove the slaves from him, such as clicking on the pool button in your lab then he will not sacrifice any slaves for that turn. It took me a while to figure out why my dominion was not growing after I was pooling my slaves every turn for other uses.

Re: 2 questions on blood sacrifice
Does he pull as many as he is capable of sacrificing, or sacrifice all he has and then pull as many as he sacrificed?
In other words, if I give a level 3 priest 2 slaves and set him on blood sacrifice will it make him sacrifice 2 slaves/month (if I didn't feel I could afford the slave cost of using his full power and didn't have a level 2 priest handy)?

Re: 2 questions on blood sacrifice
I can't say for certain without testing again. But If I guessed I would say he would pull as many as he is capable of using.

Well, it's fairly easy to test and I just did. If he's in a temple with a lab, after he sacrifices he'll automatically restock with the maximum number of slaves he can sacrifice in one turn or however many are left if you don't have that many slaves. You can see the slaves on him after the turn so you can tell it's working.

Now, if we could get hunters to auto-drop slaves in a lab if one is in the province, the cycle would be complete
Not that it's -terribly- hard to select them and Shift-z, but if you have hunters in many provinces, you can easily forget a few...
