Thanks guys, but all of the shipset graphic/original concept credit must go to Damian Lescano. I just answered the 'ad' at Universal Shipyards for creating an AI to go with the Shipset. Email's went awry and unfortunately this shipset was posted/completed without Damian's direct knowledge. Luckily he and his brother are a forgiving/understandable sort and we can all enjoy this incredible shipset.(Thats what I love about this game, the maturity of the people that play it, try and find this kind of maturity while playing Blizzards Diablo, it just ain't there )

(and yes, the Cephalopeia have been kicking my but too for about 20 turns in my current game, my fighters are just about useless against the organic armor/pdc they use ).

Just a minor proposal Deathstalker: Would it be possible to have a design name file with more squid associated names? I think in a zoological textbook there should be quite a number of squid species names e.g. The one you have now has names that you do not associate with squids or even marine animals.

Q, I know that most of the names don't have much to do with 'squids' in general. I lost that thought track after Calamari, Kraken, and thats probally it. The one thing I have against SeIV is their design name files. Most of the names are so similar I have to backtrack and double check to see what ships I am facing. I figured, hey, their a warrior/enslaving race so these are some names they would name their 'steeds'. And hopefully they stand out and are remembered instead of being confused with 4 different ship types.(this was also a problem with the se4 original system names, didn't know where I was half the time ). But if you want more 'squid type' names, you are welcome to find some and post them for those who prefer it.(I'd probally mis-spell most of them anyway )
