as of my posting abysia, atlantis, and jotunheim have 15 minutes or they stale.

Thanks. Unless they post here to the contrary, I will assume they did stale. Any of them that stale again this turn will be moved to computer control.

Re: MP Game - Orania Semiblitz
Even with the master password set, it's impossible to bot them if they are passworded: The master password is currently not usable from remote clients.

Hmm, I didn't know that. So why did Esben create an input that allows a master password to be set? If what you say is true, he is the only person that could use it.
Perhaps we could impose on him to bot our AWOLers.

Re: MP Game - Orania Semiblitz
He created the input based on popular demand, and finished it before noticing my point that it didn't work remotely.
As for imposing on Mose to do it for you, that's not really possible either: Mosehansen's server is a Linux box with no ability to load the game graphically: As such, he cannot operate the game remotely, except through an extremely bothersome procedure of downloading the game to a properly equipped box, making the necessary changes, and then reuploading it back. Probably a bit too bothersome to expect of him.

Well, dammit. I thought I was going to be able to bot AWOLers, but apparently I can't. Looks like it's 18 hours per turn until we kill them. Grrrr

Re: MP Game - Orania Semiblitz
This should be fixed on the next patch, so we could get lucky. Actually, the server [b]is[b] capable of graphics, but it does not have a monitor Dominions2 will not load unless you have the graphics (X) server installed, even if you intend never to use it. But it is unconfigured, and starting it would probably kill the poor thing under it's current load.
As for stop->trans->make computer controlled->trans->restart, that just might work. But it is,,as you say, quite bothersome. Worse, it sounds risky. I might do it anyhow, since the 18-hours schedule is a bit sad...
Why does every game have at least one AWOL? :'-(
