Well, dammit. I thought I was going to be able to bot AWOLers, but apparently I can't. Looks like it's 18 hours per turn until we kill them. Grrrr

Re: MP Game - Orania Semiblitz
This should be fixed on the next patch, so we could get lucky. Actually, the server [b]is[b] capable of graphics, but it does not have a monitor Dominions2 will not load unless you have the graphics (X) server installed, even if you intend never to use it. But it is unconfigured, and starting it would probably kill the poor thing under it's current load.
As for stop->trans->make computer controlled->trans->restart, that just might work. But it is,,as you say, quite bothersome. Worse, it sounds risky. I might do it anyhow, since the 18-hours schedule is a bit sad...
Why does every game have at least one AWOL? :'-(

I think it's either a fundamental property of the Universe (like Maxwell's equations and the inverse-square law for action at a distance) or God's retribution for our disbelief in His existence.

Actually, I think it has more to do with the fact 90% of the Internet population consists of smacktards. You should consider yourself fortunate that Dominions II is such an elitist game and as such, you expect only a few AWOLers! If this were any other game, you could expect at least half the players to be AWOL!

Re: MP Game - Orania Semiblitz
I'm having troulbe connecting to this game. I log in as normal but Dominions locks up when showing the screen "Waiting for game info"
It actually happend to me on my main computer Last turn, but when I tried it from another computer I logged in fine.
Now both computer are having the same problem. I tried deleting the game and logging in again but that didn't help.
Anyone have any other ideas?
Thanks!
