Fighters lock up

Any body else get a dump like this? I have several satellites at a warp point that are attacked by Am (green snaky thing ICE Methane I think). It crashed, I urdated my driver and it crashed again. When I replayed using strategic combat, no problem. Got to build a lot of pd's tho.

Any ideas on what to do to fix ( cant buy another video card tho)

I take it the Amonkrie were using fighters, and you were playing out the combat on automatic in tactical mode? If that's true, it's a known, and much talked about, bug. ( a search of this forum with the keyword "fighter" will get you dozens of hits on it.) You've already mentioned the solution: Keep combats with fighters involved on strategic mode, or play them out all the way manually in tactical mode.

If all that isn't the case, you may have an interesting one. Any more information you can share?

Yep, thats the one. I remember reading about some bug with fighters, just thought this was my video card. thanks for the affermation.
