data dump (alternative to file formats)

Ehm, what do you mean? Noone's has been able to gather much from the raw files, and as you say a ASCII dump feature would be preferable.

Personally Id like to see a hosts option to see a world view with all the nations flags on it at once.

If so, this should be an option upon game creation. Remember, if the host is also a player, and this player would have easy access to cheating

If not, then a dump of what provinces are owned by what nations could be used to create it.

I'd say only the player himself should have access to dumping the info.
