That means you're kinda SOL, unless Shrapnel is so kind as to give you another CDkey free. This is why I like to write the CD-keys onto my CDs with permanent marker.

Check with the customer support center. They may want some proof of purchase (e.g., a copy of the credit card bill with the charge on it, a fax of the reciet, et cetera) but there is a reasonably decent chance they will work with you.

I always do the same exact thing. The CD's themselves are the only thing I stand a decent chance of not losing over time.

That, and if you lose the CD, your odds of reinstalling the game at all become somewhat slim.
