Default Re: Problem with Mod File - Any Ideas

Update on this - for some reason at some point in the past few days my Dominions isn't reading any mod files I put in the Mods Directory past their name, icon, and Version number - even "good" ones I have dragged off the net. I run the game and the mod is not applied...has this happened to others before?

Re-installing is always an option.

How are you selecting your MOD in "Preferences---> MOD Preferences" without an icon/banner thing,( as in #icon "mymod.tga")???

Thank you that was the key! The answer to your question is the mod name shows up with or without a icon - the icon is optional.

However, I haven't worked with mods much before and didn't realize you had to click on it to enable it - once I read your question I knew right away what the problem was. I guess when I worked on it originally I must have clicked on it to enable it and then forgot, and then somehow disabled it.

Pretty stupid I know! I spent hours fiddling with the damn file too...and right clicked the mod name a dozen times. Doh!

Anyway, thanks for getting me past this bout of idiocy I had!
