Re: ONLINE Rankings / Tourney for DOM 2
Have you registered? You have to go to www.the-battlefield.com and register before the save-game link will work.

I think your browser may not recognize this as a file to be downloaded, rather than displayed. Try holding the mouse button down (that's how it's done in MacOS, IIRC), until the menu appears, then save-link-as. Unless the battlefield uses some kind of weird link crap that confuses even that. Then you're just kinda hosed. It's likely that your browser is simply unable to identify what a .trn or .2h file is.

Re: ONLINE Rankings / Tourney for DOM 2
Thank you all for the help. Norfleet your suggestion seems to have worked. The computer downloaded 7caelum.trn when I downloaded the caelum saved game. The computer does not recognize it unsuprisingly. Now to ask yet another question. What do I do to view the saved game?

i think renaming it to just caelum.trn is enough .
and you have to save it in the correct dominionssavegame folder .
e.g. if the participating game is called :
ylskdjvlyödfjk
then this subfolder should be found in the dominion2 folder .
simply copy your turn in that subfolder and name it caelum.trn
should be enough to get it work.
edit : if there occurs a special OS problem still i can't help you because i only have win xp

Re: ONLINE Rankings / Tourney for DOM 2
So the .trn file is not the only thing required to see the saved game?

Re: ONLINE Rankings / Tourney for DOM 2
Well, you need to plop it into a folder in your Dom2 directory, that is preferrably named as a legal game would be. Give it a name like, say, "Grah". Then throw the .trn file in, and play. No other files are needed, but it DOES need to have its own directory, or Dom2 does not realize that it's supposed to be a game.
