Mine's easy, it's the name of one of my favorite movies. I used to use a variation on my name, but back in the era when message Boards were more open, no registering or having passwords, the atmosphere on some of the message Boards I frequented would often get nasty. I didn't want to have a username to closely related to my real name. It just happened that TNT was having a Peter Sellers festival that weekend, so I chose this one. I could have chosen "Chancey" or "Inspector Cluesceau". The amazing thing is that as I wander around the web and glom onto new Boards I can usually use this username. I guess people forget about the old classics.
