that's because board games and MUDs aren't antisocial. I think the quintessential characteristic of geeks that detachment from following "normal" social behavior. That's why anyone who scores higher then 50% would have a pretty disfunctional life

Although having said that, there is a majority of our society that's socially disfunctional without being "geeky". So you can't blame it all on star trek and binary.

You add MUDs and BBSs and Id shoot thru the roof.
