Are you asking about Holy Pyre, or Banefire, since Banefire is what your subject is?
i asked first about holy pyre but this was answered .
now i ask about banefire and because of that i changed the subject

As of Dom PPP Banefire did indeed damage undead, have not tested in Dom II, likely stays the same.

Banefire and Bane Venom (the secondary effect of Banefire) affects everything and is a generic damage that cannot be resisted.
