As long as you play on Mosehansen's Server, you do not yet need to patch. Though I hope that one day you will, but that's for our generous host to decide.

For me we could play it as ladder, if none disagrees.
To register you've to go at www.the-battlefield.com, click on Dominions2 and register.
Now I'm short in time, but I'll soon post a more detailed help on how to register in ladder in case someone fails in doing it.
