I have no idea, but I suppose it isn't too clever on any of these.

I think it sends mages out to search on a random basis making it more likely if they have many death mages.

I believe it doesn't alchemize to cast spells.

2a and 2b also random I would guess. One type at a time.

I am probably a random distributor myself. How would you distribute them?
