I was hoping for some comments on the audio that changes by page and am suprised to have none thus far.. only comments on visuals... hmmm...

I concur.
The audio must have been drowned out by WinAmp... 
Generally, background audio should not be played by default. Instead, there should be a start/stop button for it...
What exactly is the frame on the right side? It loaded blank, leading me to suspect it was some sort of ad thing that Adblock killed. |

Yeah, that piece o' crap on the right is the GeoCities ad-panel. It's a fickle thing too; sometimes there sometimes not. Sometimes I can click on the site and it'll move behind it. Whatever the case, I hate it and will eventually go to paid hosting to get rid of it.
