True enough but I had already added mega amounts of shipsets, and gone back to delete (actually moved to a temp dir) all of the ones causing errors. Ive been considering going back and tackling minor edits to get more of them to work but I cant seem to do that without wanting to actually look at each change to try and make it fit the race. Not just copy default files into each one. I cant believe that I might be the first one to offer a large AI load in a zipfile which will work in SEIV gold.

The SE4 Companion by Ruatha can convert pre-gold AIs to Gold compatibility... no need to do it by hand.

Nice to see other opinions, thanks Spoon. I will see what should be fixed by playing the actual game. But I already fixed the Vacuum advantage. The little tool now shows me everything is balanced, but the Vacuum's which are a little bit worse. The patch will be released later. For the actual game it's too late to fix and will only cause trouble.
I am sorry, but I don't get the AI to work properly. I tried, but I don't understand the AI-files and the AI doesn't do much in a normal SMod game. With some techs the AI will do a little bit more, but I don't get it right. So all I can say is that the AI is not included. I put the default AI settings in the Races and RaceGeneric directories for people who wants to add their own ship sets. They can use these files for their ship sets. I used them for every race I shipped with the mod and they don't produce any errors with me. Who wants to include a bunch of sets can use ai_file_copy.bat for copying the default AI files to the directories. This little batch file copies each file which starts with "Default_" to each subdirectory. It also replaces the "Default_" string with the name of the ship set directory. This should help much, but be aware, it will overwrite every existing AI file in all subdirectories.

Perhaps provide a second Version of the mod download without any shipsets then? There are plenty of Users out there with a lot of those shipsets already, so downloading them again is a waste of time and bandwidth, especially if they will not even work with the mod as AI races...
