That would be my story as well. Found SE3 on a demo CD with the magazine Computer Games Strategy Plus.

I came across SE:III on the internet, played it for a bit. Later on I came across SE:IV. 4 years later, still on SE:IV.

Friend of mine gave me a copy of the original Master of Orion. After becoming thoroughly addicted, when I first got an internet connection, I went looking for games of a similar genre and came across SE3. Got myself totally hooked on that, which of course led to SE4 and now SE5. I only ask that Aaron not start the SE5 Beta before Jan 13th, since that'll be my 1 year anniversary with my lil lady and if I forget about that, which I surely will if a SE5 beta is involved, then I'll probably end up losing an appendage. Possibly my most important appendage. That would be my right hand, which is quite vital for the opperation of my mouse. Minds out of the gutter people!
