what can't you do is the better question

its very expensive, but adding luck and ethereal basically makes it extremely unlikely he'll pick up any afflictions wiping out indies. astral weapon means he's a potent SC killer even into the late game. and S9 makes him an astral king capable of natively casting wish, or whatever other high level ritual one might want. or battlefield support magic.

Indeed! But once he's killed some ~4 times he'll be in the mind duel range
