Re: New(b) game: Borrowed time
You might want to avoid Yalun-To : the northwest section of the landmass is only accessable via water provinces, and there was also a single province (#45) that is the single access point between the east and west halves of the lower section of the map.
While this does lead to some interesting strategic considerations, it can also be extremely frustrating for players who wind up in the wrong spot.

Re: New(b) game: Borrowed time
Map: Zen's cradle
- Sites: 45, 35 suggested, bring yer input
- Graphs: On?
- Vp's: Something
- Clams, fetishes, soulcontracts, vampirelords Banned. 5 bloodstones?
i vote for higher magic sites (at lest 45) otherwise i think it makes blood magic overpowering. you can always find blood and w/ low sites its the way to go.
graphs on.
and i don't mind some clams and fetishes. limit 10-15. its not a big deal to me (but not unlimited that looks like to much work for me).
?the vp quicker game at 60% or need to be the only one 70-80
(i think the 70% would force the winner to be very dominant but at 60 it could be a "quick kill")
perhaps we should ask the old masters this question then have newbes like me guessing.

Re: New(b) game: Borrowed time
Well, I thought abit about that, with the vp's. At first I thought, 51% for win, that way he who had 51% was bigger than all the other nations together. However, they are still evenly matched. With 60% for the winner he has 50% more vp's, signifying 50% more power than all the remaining nations. That's an overwhelming lead.

Re: New(b) game: Borrowed time
Be careful with a VP win condition, it might happen sooner than you think. I'd suggest setting the VP count higher.

Re: New(b) game: Borrowed time
Keep in mind that "VP needed for win" isn't a percentage. It's a fixed number. So better first figure out how many VPs overall should be available, then decide how many of them are needed to win the game.
