The goal would be to have the least amount of stuff when the deadline is reached while still surviving the game.

hmmm, SE4:Golf..

Rules..

1)Each player builds one ship. (ship is restricted to 1 move per turn)

2) The course consists of 18 systems with a variable number of planets in each.

3) The entry warp point is the 'Tee'

4) Players then plot a course that will have them visit every planet and end up at the second 'exit' warp point. (this is the 'hole)

5) The player who manages to plot a course that takes the least number of moves wins the hole.

Simple, and every system will require some crafty piloting/navigation skills. This is what came to mind when I though of SE4:Golf.

Of course there can be variations in this, like letting the player have emergency propulsion etc. but knowing when to use them will be the trick.

Nuf said, Cheers!

..well maybe not enough,.. this same idea can be applied to Starfury as well, but instead of counting moves, time would be the winning factor. and the player could drop a cargo unit at each planet to prove he has been there.
