Re: A problem with Natarajans and their hands?
I wouldn't know the answer to your question, but I can always hand you the fatherland file if the game in question is Yarnspinners, so you would be able to check what your Nataraja is up to.
If it is not Yarnspinners, feel free to forget everything about this post (I do not know if you have a Nataraja in this game, so).

Re: A problem with Natarajans and their hands?
Just a guess, but maybe the wraith sword is in the wrong hand. The natajara has two hands on each side. Perhaps one or two of the slots does not work because the missing hand in the wrong place to handle a two-handed weapon. Try moving it around to see. If all three slots don't work, then it is either a feature or a bug.

I don't think there are any right/left hands in the game.

But don't they come in pairs anyways? So you have 2 hands that are one package and then when adding 2 more hands you add another package.

Re: A problem with Natarajans and their hands?
Thanks to Alneyan, I was able to run some tests:
1) It isn't just a display bug. When equipped, the wraith sword shows up as a "fist" in the description and acts like one in battle (or, specificially, it doesn't act as a wraith sword, neither replenishing hit poits nor fatigure).
2) Other-two handed weapons also don't work (I tried a crossbow).
3) I attempted Panther's suggestion, but was only able to equip the wraith sword in two of the three possible slots (by either equipping it before or after another, one-handed weapon). Thus, it is still possible that some "off-hand" cause is at work here, although clearly Kristoffer thinks this is not the explanation.
4) Healing the natarajan restored the ability to use the wraith sword (along with a second two-handed weapon), so my guess is that this is a universal feature of the natarajan, and not related to a corrupt file.

Also, Vanheim's two-handed berserker hero, Farboute who starts with a broad sword and an axe : By rights, tacking on a single-handed weapon like the Thorn Spear should replace either the broadsword or the axe, but it actually replaces both, leaving him with the spear, a one handed weapon, and nothing else.

Re: A problem with Natarajans and their hands?
Hi Cainehill,
What you describe is, I believe, a broad feature. Bane Spiders, for instance, have a bane blade and bane dagger, but equip any one-handed weapon and he will show up with just that. Similarly, the natarajan, who normally has four weapons will be reduced to just one magical weapon if you equip him with one.
Nonetheless, this feature could be related to this problem somehow...
