Come on, it's not like the AI's die or anything (as evidenced by the fact that even the total losers in a given round duke it out several times), and it's not like they are even capable of doing anything other than opposing each other or the human players in the game. Besides, have you asked one of the AI's in the Deathmatch if they like duking it out? Come on, they are going for the title of Champion AI. You might as well say "Down with Football Player Exploitation!"

Toron vs United Flora
As expected, the United Flora defeated the Toron very fast, at the turn 170.

Different AI each time!

There's a book by Terry Pratchett "Only You Can Save Mankind" in which the aliens of a Space Invaders type game complains to a kid that he's killing them. He replies that whenever he starts a new game, there are more alien ships, and the aliens reply that they're always new ships piloted by different individuals.

You can probably content yourself with the thought that a few hundred years from now, after the time of the inevitable great AI emancipation, MB's descendents will get sued for untold zillions of reparation claims.

Sure they do! They are graciously permitted to keep all Minerals, Radioactives, and Organics they can harvest from the universe MB creates for them. A much better deal than Football players get - they get only a small fraction of the revenue from their efforts.

Absolutely not. They get thrown into the same universe for a time and MB records what happens. They don't have to fight at all. The only thing stopping them from living in peacful harmony for the duration is their own tendancies. Not all AI's go to war.

Agree again! In some games, both AIs signed a treaty and never had a fight!
