Not impossible to solve. Get some money from home. Arrive to California, buy used computer (athlon 1000+, 256 ram, some gforce4 mx or so, 15" monitor), and you're ready for beta testing se5 in low-end enviroment. Better than nothing. It should cost you less than 400$ (my humble estimations). You'll have to find more or less permanent i-net access, but it's a different problem.

Yeah, after all SE 5 wont have THAT high system requirements, and out-dated systems are pretty cheap these times.

Definitely consider doing this. Its important to test SE5 on a low end system.

So what your saying is that Matt Selnekovic is not your real name?
I wish I could help you Instar, I really do. Have you considered buying a used LAP TOP from a hock shot or off of ebay? Take on a temp job for a few weeks to get enough to buy one.

Well, it could be listed as Matthew or whatever. That's what I meant.
A temp job probably wouldn't cut it. I leave on the 17th of January. The internship should give me some spending cash, but not in time. I'll hunt around I guess.
Connectivity to the net is a nonissue. The connection at my internship will be top notch (I've worked there before).
