Re: Spell Quick Reference?
I have made one in an excel spreadsheet, sorted into broad catagories, with all the text from the book, and hints from some of the sites.
PM me with your email address and I will send it to you to look over as I have not released it or posted it anywhere yet.

Re: Spell Quick Reference?
I don't have Excel, and don't know how to open a .php file. Guess I'll have to do it myself.

Re: Spell Quick Reference?
Just FYI, there is a reasonably good free-to-download Office clone available called "Open Office", good for those of us who want to open Microsoft Office documents (the format which almost everyone uses these days) but don't own Office. Of course, free means "provided as is, without support", so it might not be a great download for those "If it goes down I'll lose hundreds of dollars an hour" business computers out there...
BTW, the Excel spreadsheet spell list sounds like a great idea, please do post it in the forums when it is finished!

Re: Spell Quick Reference?
I tund to use the spell manual addendum on the Sunraybe site.
Are any of these others organized alphabetically by spell name? This is really the best way to organize spell descriptions as it will explain what is happening to you when you are in combat and someone else is casting at you when you are first learning the game.

Re: Spell Quick Reference?
So far I've had no trouble with OO whatsoever and I find it far superior to the MS Office in user friendliness and customization options. If you configure the thing to do something, or more importantly, to NOT do something, it actually does what it's told instead of ignoring it or resetting to some non-changeable defaults. OO also has a more logically consistent layout, things can be found where they are expected to be found instead of in unrelated or non-intuitive places. It doesn't have quite all the bells and whistles of MS Office, but the average user is never going to need 90% of those anyway.

That's exactly what I want it for.
It's taking me longer than expected to type, but I'm working on a simple .rtf file for this.
daesthai has posted an .xls file in this thread.
