The only one I remember is To Kill A Mockingbird. I guess the others were either so bad I supressed the memory or so boring I forgot them. TKAM was...um...Not my area of interest.
And if we're talking books, don't miss Katherine Kerr's
Deverry series. I've seen author's try to be epic; to come up with a story that rivals Tolkein. Quite seriously, this one does.
