WARNING:
This game is NOT suitable for students, interns, apprentices, or anyone else who is expected to pass tests on a regular basis. Do not think about SEIV strategies while operating heavy machinery. Do not begin learning SEIV without first making arrangements for someone to check on you daily. If you find that your game has continued for more than 36 hours straight then you should consult a physician immediately (Do NOT show him the game!) - GP

Beware of the "just one more turn" syndrome, it has been known to kill students.
And imho the implementation of pirates is much better (read nicer to play) in atrocities Startrek Mod. however the Adamant mod also has Pirates and Nomads, I havent played them yet so I dont know how they are.

The game is also not suitable for people who need to show up at work at a certain time every morning! 
There was a period of time that I stayed up late every night playing SEIV, and in the morning I was barely making it to work on time, and sometimes a little late. I felt sleepy throughout the day but constantly thought about stuff like what facilities to build on my next colony or what technology to research. |
