If you would go with nature 10 and spell focus , ring of sorcery , rune smasher and thistle mace you would get a similiar chance with charm and you have a good blessing effect with nature 10 as well

Maybe S 10 is funny also sure enslave mind is less good but you have then also the possibility to mind duel every other astral magic user
