Re: OT: 83 Pages
I donno.. I posted a few times on the Starfury forum and then left my account here idle for a long, long time, rarely even logging into it. In fact, it may have even been a year or more.. I only really started posting again after the forums flipped right way around.

Re: OT: 83 Pages
I'm still pretty new here. I read mostly and when I have time I'll try and post. But reading is faster and less time consuming when you have assignments (even though what is less time consuming is not reading at all ).
I'm still waiting to see when I get promoted from private to corporal.

IIRC, 7 more posts, when you hit 50.
--edit: Heh, oops, that should have been 8, when you hit 50... but this list says it rolls over at 51... time will tell.

Do you know what would be nice? Rank insigna, and the option to choose which branch of the military your rank comes from. I have seen it done on other forums, to bad its not done here. (hint)

Whoo, Brigadier General next for me. Now all I need is a specialist team of humans, a stargate facility for me to run and situatuions to say witty one liners.

Re: OT: 83 Pages
Brigadier Generals are so few and far between, you will be very lonely when you reach that rank RD. Besides, I believe there is no such thing as a Brigadier General in the UK military: you will therefore have to pick another title (Brigadier is still used in your military, I believe), or stick at your lower grade for a while longer. That, and I am obviously against seeing lower-ranked officers rising in the ranks.
On the same topic, you had 1581 posts a few days ago: at the same time, Growltigga had 1580 posts, and Mac 1579 posts. The infernal triumvirat of the Cantina was united once more in the user list; a shame it didn't last.

I am talking about people who have never used their accounts. Not idle accounts, accounts that have 0 posts to them and are over a year old.
