That button has been there for a long time. It used to say "Spellcheck," and it still does when writing a new post. Unfortunately it is bugged on the edit post page. A few people have reported it already in this thread. Hopefully Richard/Mindi can get it fixed soon.

You COULD make it look like they were in a bullet belt, for a machine gun..... but that's just an idea
