Hi, I was just looking @ the screenshots for the game (http://www.shrapnelgames.com/Sprue/Salvo/3.htm) is the game 600x800 only ?

Will there be any sound effects/ music in the game?

Screen Size
Salvo’s native screen size is 800 x 600, for windowed modes, with the additional option of 1024 x 768. But the game operates at any screen size when it is in full screen mode. I have not tried any of the wacky modes you can get in HDTV monitors and tablet computers set to ‘vertical’ mode but that is something that will come up as the demo gets a little more exposure to other systems. ITMT maybe I’ll fool around with it – but maybe not time-is-tight.

Sound
There is no music, but there is sound: A looping wave sound indicating the current wind speed, and effects sound for combat. All sounds are adjustable and turn-off-able.

windowed modes? you mean Salvo! will be one of the few games you can actualy minimise to check e-mails or change radio station? yay

Yes – Salvo runs in either a window or full screen. I edited my previous post to add a screenshot that shows the expanded screen mode for Salvo, and this post should have a download for the big screen mode. (Iv never added files to my Posts on this forum before – so I hope it works out OK.) Also – I’ll throw in a 800x 600 full shot – mostly cuz I have it.
