One more thing tho..... subs usually have a conning tower on the central body, not the lower front.

Well their ships are designed to look very "standoffish" since the Andermani's primary weapons in my mod will be a heavy missile loadout with a minimum of energy weapons available to them. Those "blisters" along the hull are in fact missile bays btw.
If you'll notice under the foward hull you'll see a MASSIVE laser cannon protruding from it.
Here is that cruiser's big brother, the battlecruiser.

Well actually those "bands" aren't really ment to protude off the hull that much, I may bump map them though and see how that looks.

No but considering that red "ring" is simply another part of the hull and is not supposed to be a seperate peice of it I hink just bumping it and making i stand off a little bit more would be suitable right now as I don't want to make it a whole new "peice" of ship.
