Minor nitpick: If the fleet is accelerating at 50G's, officers wouldn't be referring to "speed", which is constantly changing, but to "acceleration", or maybe "accel" for short.

BTW, what in the name of all that's holy were those weapons platforms firing that could slice up a super-dreadnought with one shot???
