Fighter/Sat. BUG?
Hi there,
is this normal:
In the combat-simulator, I'm fighting with 1 Destroyer vs. 30 Sat.
The destroyers needs only ONE hit and ALL Sat. are destroyed.
The same thing happened to fighters!
I'm using only the demo, is this a bug/ or only in the demo?

You're right, it does sound odd.
What weapon(s) does the destroyer have? What components are on the sats/ fighters?
If it is a bug, this is the sort of thing that the patches have worked on, so you might find that th latest Version of the game has fixed it.

If it's the bug where unshielded sats and fighters can be trashed with one hit, that was fixed long ago in an early patch. In 1.41, fighters are definitely much more survivable (and less so than in... 1.35, which had the magical stacking defense bonus).
The demo hasn't been patched for a LONG time, methinks, so I'm not sure if that fix ever propagated there.

Yes, you are right. It only happened when Sat./Fighters are without shields.
That's fine.
Then there is no reason to not buy the game, but how? Thats a real problem here in germany without any Master/Visa card or sheck?!
Anyone an idea?

Perhaps pay cash for a money order or cashier's check (converted to US dollars) at a bank? I'd guess that German banks would offer something like that for a fee.

The game is well worth getting. I would email Richard here at Shrapnel, and ask him for alternatives to VISA or Credit Cards. The Money order thing is a good option, but be sure to clear it. You don't want any delays in getting the game.
