Re: OT: What does \'Lyproscopic\' mean?
Who's he?
Oh, and I can now move my left eye to the left, independent of my right eye.
I managed that with my right eye too, but I'm not sure which muscles to move.
My little brother thought it was hilarious.

Re: OT: What does \'Lyproscopic\' mean?
Oh, and does anyone know how to set the 'low memory' warning level on a hard-drive in Win98? Thanks.
And thanks for the help with 'Lyproscopic'. I don't remember wether I said that before, so there it is.

Ah, but can you wiggle your ears (separate from one another), without moving any other muscles in your head?

Re: OT: What does \'Lyproscopic\' mean?
I can wiggle my ears; however, I cannot wiggle them independently and my forehead tends to wiggle too.
I can also wiggle my nose a tiny little bit.

Re: OT: What does \'Lyproscopic\' mean?
I've never met anybody who can wiggle his ears! I must have no muscles near my ears, I can't even try to move them; there's simply nothing there. It's impossible, just like trying to see the back of my head or trying to touch my right elbow with my right hand; can't be done. I was born with bad ear-wiggling genes. Re: OT: What does \'Lyproscopic\' mean?
I've found a good way is to either move or constrain those particular muscles with a finger. Obviously, this doesn't work with eyeballs, but holding one eyebrow down while I raised my eyebrows is how I learned how to raise only one at a time. And I'm pretty sure that I learned to wiggle my ears by wiggling them with my fingers.

Yeah, easy.
*dogscoff grabs his ears with his hands and waggles them furiously.
There, didn't use a single muscle in my head.

No idea, but I would be eternally endebted to anyone who can tell me how to get my winXP machine to stop telling me that the second partition of my hard drive is almost full - EVERY TEN MIUNTES. Bloody windoze.

Pretty easy actually. First, just try to move your ears. They won't do anything, but if you just tell your body "hey, those things should be doing something" even just for a few seconds every day, within a few days to a week you'll notice a bit of motion when you try. I think your body says "hey, lets get those muscles working! We obviously need them if buddy who owns the body wants them to move!" Just the conscious attempt to move them seems to make the body want to be able to move them.
